Mayor, Senators, and Representatives to Attend Rally; Meetings Scheduled

    By admin | March 27, 2008

We are ecstatic to report that Mayor Mufi Hanneman, Senators Gary Hooser, and Rosalyn Baker, and House Speaker Calvin Say and Speaker Emeritus Joe Souki will honor us with a few words of support at Friday’s rally.  Senate President Colleen Hanabusa has championed our cause from the beginning, however she is unable to appear at the rally.  She has generously agreed to meet with employees the morning of the Rally.  The Mayor’s and the State Legislature’s support for Aloha Airlines’ Employees has been nothing short of overwhelming.  A big, BIG MAHALO!

Also a big Mahalo to Congresswoman Mazie Hirono who met with us last night and Congressman Neil Abercrombie who is meeting with employees after the rally.  All of our congressional delegates are unable to attend due to scheduling issues, however they have expressed strong words of support for Aloha’s 3,500 employees.  Mahalo Nui Loa Congresswoman Hirono, Congressman Abercrombie, and Senators Inouye and Akaka!

Governor Lingle and Lt. Governor Aiona are meeting regularly with Aloha Airlines’ executives.  Unfortunately due to scheduling issues they will not appear tomorrow.
